I've been wanting to make one of these fabric, beaded necklaces for a while now. They are so simple!
All you need is a long piece of fabric, wooden beads and some pretty ribbon to match your chosen fabric. The fabric that I used was left over from my peasant dress that I made for Hannah. I used two different sized beads for mine and used the largest in the middle and tapered down with the smaller ones.
What I love the most about this necklace is that Hannah can pull and tug on it until her sweet little heart is content and it will not break! I've tested this theory... she loves it... she also loves to suck on it. Thems the joys of teething!
There are some fantastic tutorials floating around in the blogosphere. You could check out this one here from See Kate Sew. Kate has a heap of great tutorials! If you haven't visited her yet... you really must!
So... what have you made this week?
I'll be linking up at all the fantastic linky parties listed here or you can click on my linky party tab at the top of the page.
